My story

I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, where life followed a traditional script—one that encouraged women to be “good”, quiet, and to follow the rules. While these expectations brought me approval, I sensed at a young age that there was more to who I was. I longed for something beyond the limits of tradition—a truth that lived within me, yet to be discovered.

Nature became my refuge, solitude my teacher.

At 21, I answered the call to explore beyond the familiar and set off for California. What unfolded was a spiritual journey I could never have predicted. Immersing myself in yoga and meditation, I found a soul-aligned community of friends and mentors who helped me reconnect with my inner wisdom.

I learned to trust my intuition. I learned how to listen to the language of my body.

Life has a way of leading us exactly where we need to go, often in ways we never expect. In 2022, that path guided me to Nosara, Costa Rica, where a month-long visit became a three-year journey of profound transformation. In the embrace of this raw and sacred land, I met the parts of myself that had been hidden—in both beautiful and painful ways.

I discovered the deep wisdom in the feminine – in her wild and soft ways. I learned that transformation is not always pretty. I reclaimed my voice, my truth, and my power—especially in relationship to the masculine.

This journey deepened my devotion to my life’s work – supporting women and girls in reclaiming their wholeness, and to help guide the way back home—to ourselves, to our truth, and to the wisdom that has always been within us.

Professional background

From a young age, I felt called to humanitarian work. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked with CARE, an international NGO empowering women and girls worldwide. The resilient women I met in Central America, Asia, and Africa were teachers for me, igniting my passion to support women in reclaiming their voice, wisdom, and power.

My journey into embodied healing began in my early 20s with yoga and meditation, leading me to my first YTT in San Francisco in 2010. I fell in love with Yin yoga and mentored with Dina Amsterdam (InnerYoga), which opened a doorway to deeper self-awareness and healing. I went on to study with Sarah Powers (Insight Yoga) and Stephanie Nosco (Medical Qi Gong & Insight Yoga). These teachings integrate yoga & meditation, Eastern spirituality, and Western Psychology.

I believe in a holistic approach to healing, and was naturally drawn to a Somatic Psychology program in graduate school. I’ve continued to train in modalities such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which offer deep healing & integration of the body, mind, and spirit.

My daily practices—yoga, meditation, and time in nature—are the foundation of both my personal and professional life. My commitment to ritual & embodied practice invites balance and peace, allowing me to offer a grounded & intuitive approach to healing.
